Changing homepage slides is erasing my homepage category settings

When I edit my home page slider, and save it, it erases my homepage categories. Can you help?

Theme works perfectly available in members area.

I think the problem was that there were 2 of us logged in at the same time and when we both were, one of us saved in the theme dialog of sliders and it forgot/overworte the category settings on the theme.
we couldn't recreate when just one of us was logged in.
