Child theme created on Lite version, now I need to upgrade

I just purchased the full business pro theme, and i need to upgrade the lite version. However, I don't want to lose the customization I've created in my child theme for the lite version.

What is the proper method to install the pro version without losing all my customization?

I solved this issue by uploading the new full theme, then changing my child theme stylesheet to point to the new theme.

However, I did lose all the customization within the theme options inkthemes panel. No big deal though.
