I thing the biggest challenge to a directory is getting Google to notice and getting enough listing for people to desire to also place their listing on the directory. When it gets large enough it will snowball. Can we Please add the feature for Admin to add listing info and pictures and then have a "Claim Your Listing " Button for company owners to contact the Admin and claim their company. It would be great! I could add a few company listings per day and over time I would get organic listings in Google. Then when the company sees their listing in the search engine they can come by the site and "Claim Their Listing" at a discounted price. thanks Sam
Yes!!! I agree .. except for the disconted price I'd suggest for the administrator to create a sticky thread so that we can present suggestions of future versions. But Organic's idea is great because it allows us to populate the website and then have the company owner manage it and eventually pay a fee for the ad!
