Classifieds page, require parent category expanded by default

Hi there,
In the classifieds page, the user would have to click on the + sign to expand the categories. How can for this page to have all the categories expanded by default?

This is important, because the need for this is really to rectify pitfalls within the theme which are ...

1. There is nothing to prevent the user from posting a classified ad in a parent category. This ad will not show in count. Also, would this ad be listed under any of the children categories? either way, it is not intuitive or right.

So, at least, if the categories are expanded, the user can have a bird view of what's within the parent category.

I'm OK with editing the code if needed, so if there is no easy option to do this, can you provide code snippet to for a sample category and I can follow the same for others if required.

You can expand that category list by default as shown below in screenshot.



It will resolve your issue.
