Colors in Colorway Theme

I have change the styling option to blue in my styling options, but can not get rid of the green. Once the styling option works, will the bottom widget be changed to the color chosen in the styling option? If not how may I change it. I looked in the forum and there was some css coding for changing the menu color, but it didn't work. If I want to change the quote image, is it a simple change, save and automatic update?

 

I was uploading to a demo site and when I moved to my clients new domain, everything worked okay. Thanks.
