We have come across a couple confusing items while testing Edits to Paid Listings. A. We noticed that on the Listing Form page, at the bottom, an Upgrade Checkbox and Question asking if you "Want To Upgrade Your Listing To Premium ?" is displaying even on our existing Premium/Paid+FeaturedHome+FeaturedCategory listings. This is misleading because they already have a fully Paid/Premium+Featured listing and there is nothing else for them to upgrade too.The "Want to Upgrade..." section as is currently designed should really not even display in this situation unless it can link to some other upgrade not currently purchased.B. We also noticed when the Upgrade Checkbox is clicked, this displays the original Pricing Option boxes -- the Featured Home/Category (normally shown under the boxes) are NOT displaying. This is somewhat confusing because if an existing Paid/Premium listing is going to "upgrade", they are typically going to add a Feature Home or Category upgrade -- yet neither option is being displayed ...until after the One Time or Recurring radio button is selected. Which, again, would often be inappropriate for them to select because their current listing is already a Paid/Premium listing.C. When the Listing Editor gets to the "Upgrade" section in the Listing Form, there does not appear to be a way for them to Confirm what they've already purchased (eg; where/how to confirm the status of their existing listing?) ...which they would want to verify before deciding what additional package might be an enhancement for them.Does their current listing status or existing purchase info display somewhere on this Listing page? (we just might have missed it)? If not, is it possible to add this somehow?D. If a Listing Editor tried to Upgrade to a plan which they already have, would the upgrade links allow them to duplicate the purchase? We tested this to the point where the links took us all the way out to the pre-filled Paypal checkout page and it appeared that there would be no alerts indicating we would be making a duplicate purchase. Obviously, this would be a problem resulting in unnecessary cancellations/refunds. Any clarification on these items would be greatly appreciated and could you please advise if you are already working on modifying any them? Thank you! In the meantime, we'd like to make these adjustments on the edit listing page to help minimize confusing our listing editors/clients... 1. How/Where can we change the text on the Update Listing button and the description underneath2. How/Where can we remove the existing "Upgrade" section (the "Want to Upgrade..." message and the Checkbox) and replace it with our own text & link to more appropriate upgrade information (for instance, on another page) Thank you for your assistance!
Sounds good , Nitesh, thank you! In the meantime, could you tell us where we can make these edits for now? 1. Where to change the text on the Update Listing button and the description underneath it2. Where/how can we remove the existing "Upgrade" section (the "Want to Upgrade..." message and the Checkbox) and replace it with our own text & link to more appropriate upgrade information (for instance, on another page)Thank you for your support!
Hello, For this you need to edit two files. geocrafttheme\library\controls\dashboard\dashboard_functions.php and geocrafttheme\library\text_domains\dashboard_path.php
This is just to edit / remove it right? For the update to come, are if statements going to be involved so that its more like this: If listing = paid & not featured, display option to upgrade to have it featured. (So they do not have to pay the initial featured price again, if they did not feature the first time) or If listing is paid and featured to display nothing. Because once they have paid to be featured and have the premium listing there is no reason to display this again to have them double pay. Or if free listing to leave as is, so they can upgrade. Thanks for the clarification
