i am trying to insert a contact form in the homepage fullwidth column, i have tried putting the shortcode in the option panel and also putting the shortcode in some other code i found but neither seem to work. any help appreciated thanks steve
Hello, Instead of adding short code for the contact form you can use a plugin for the contact form, "Contact Form 7" is the plugin which you can use, you will get the plugin from "wordpress.org".
hi yes thats the form i am using but it still needs a shortcode to be pasted where you want the form to appear. i would like the form to be on te homepage but all that appears is the shortcode that i put into the admin panel.
Hello, You can only add Shortcode at the footer widget area in the front page. Theme will not run shortcodes added in the theme options.
