Thanks for the feedback. However, I followed the second option to update via my dashboard and received the following error message during install. I hope to keep all of the setup work and data associated with the site. Unpacking the package… Installing the theme… Destination folder already exists. /mnt/stor9-wc1-dfw1/652629/679732/www.jessrenee.com/web/content/wp-content/themes/colorwaytheme/ Theme install failed.
It seems as tough the current version of the theme is not deleted. As it is my active theme, I do not have the 'delete' option like in the instructions anymore. Can I deactivate and delete it without losing any of my pages/data? Thanks for your help.
Hello, In latest downloaded theme, You will get zip file, Extract it and rename the folder name (like "colorwaytheme-1") and then make its zip file and upload it from the upload section (Appearance > Themes >Install Themes > Upload ) in your dashboard.
Hi. Now I am very nervous. I have not made any changes since my last message to you. I renamed the zip and went to go upload it only to find I cannot even login to my wp-login screen any longer. In addition, my site (www.jessrenee.com) is also down. Are there troubleshooting steps I can take going forward? To date, I have only tried to upload the original ColorWay update via the zip file during which the installation failed (as shown in the previous post). I receive the following in my browser (Chrome) when trying to access either the normal site or wp-login: Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data. Error code: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE

I will work on why I can't access from home, but I was able to login and perform the update to the latest ColorWay from work. The update went smoothly; however, we are back to the original issue: we are not receiving anything from the contact form. I have double-checked the email address in Settings->General, and it is correct. We are also having no problems with the email address itself. Thanks.
