csv

I have the excel file, and i made the csv file, I tried to make the right format and kinda got it to work, but it added my info in the wrong places.

What is the proper way to make a csv file with the right format, i tried to get the format but no luck.

Yes i exported it from geocraft to look at it, but how do i get all the fields to have double qoutes where theres a empty boxlike ,"", somthing like that i think, I changed the fields to the proper name and got rid of the ones i wasnt adding

If you are trying to upload listings in bulk via CSV file then, make sure that you mustn't have used any special characters in the column values in the CSV file.

As those may break the field values and the control will place them in wrong custom field.

You can get the proper format of file from your site through Export CSV file option.

I did a test and made a listing, downloaded the csv file, deleted the listing

Then I reuploaded the same csv file with the listing , and it said import success, but their was no listing added


I am trying to do a bulk csv upload , 5 fields , Listing Title, Phone No, Address, Website, Email

I have the spreadsheet file.

Is it because i am using libra office instead of microsoft

 

I got it to work, this totally rocks, I downloaded the template, opened it as a spreadsheet file and copied and pasted my columns to the right fields. Then i used a csv software called table tool to convert it. This is awsome.
