custom css not working for changing font weight for headings

Hi,
Using colorway theme and the styling options for custom css is not working. So I edited the style sheet directly and the changes show up. Should I just create a child theme?

Hi Charmalee,

There is no need to create a child theme.
Sometimes some css doesn't work due to priority reason, in such case use "!important". e.g: background : red !important;
