This may already be a option... Under custom fields "type" i want to have a Select Multipule option. Example: Where I list 10 options and the user can select the options that apply to their listing. If this option doesn't exist is there a fix?
Yeah we have been asking for this for some time. I looked into it and the check boxes were once implemented into the theme. Probably when the theme was originally coded. However when passing the array to the next page the string does not implode which would make it multiple strings. I took a stab at trying to fix it however was unsuccessful. So I was forced to used about 100 radio buttons on my add form. Which is terrible because all the yes or no questions take up so much space and make it look terrible. I am strongly for getting inkthemes to fix their user submit side, as it is an important part of the paying customer process. Giving the user the ability to add one field which gathers multiple pre-set information is a BIG selling feature, and I am sure alot of GeoCraft customers thought that the theme had this implemented as the 'Categories' section displayed this on the add submit process. A big let down, as for the fact you cannot use more then one drop field without it failing and not processing the data to the backend. This and many more errors I am encountering am pro-longing my launch and leaving some clients un-happy. Not to mention taking up alot of my time to fix said problems when if I bought a working theme this would not be a problem. I am not saying I am un-happy, its just that I strongly suggest that the checkboxes issue is addressed in the future.
I am having the same issue. I have 5 Select fields and just noticed the data is not sticking when I select an option. Are the developers addressing this?
