Please could you advise me how to achieve the following behaviour for my main navigation menu. I have created pages with a hierarchy, so taht some pages have a parent page. Conveniently, the default navigation menu provides navigation to these pages in the intuitively expected way. That is, if I have pages called Home, About Us, Page A, Page B and Page C and Contact Us; and Page A is the direct parent of Page B and Page C, then the main navigation menu that appears for free shows the following buttons:- "Home" ... "About Us" ... "Page A" ... "Contact Us" When I click on "Page A", both "Page B" and "Page C" appear in a floating popup and I can choose to display either of these sub-pages. This great. However, if I click "Page A", then I see Page A. This in understandable. But I actually do not wish to see Page A; instead I should like to see Page B by default. Essentially I want the menu item "Page A" to be just a link to the first sub-page of the menu. Is this possible? Thanks.
Hello, I think you want to make parent menu unclickable, For this Go to Appearance > Menus and create a custom menu. On the custom menu add the pages with the links that you want. The trick is that it won't let you create any page without a link, so you have to give it a random link, add it to the custom menu, and once you added it edit it and delete the URL. That should make your button unclickable like you want it. Thanks & Regards Gourav Shrivastava
