Did I miss an update?...

I am running ColorWay under WP 4.2.2 (http://qedinsight.com).

In the Themes page, it is identified as "ColorWay Theme Responsive," vers. 3.0. If I FTP to my host, the directory is "colorwaytheme," and all of the files are dated 17 June 2012 (6/17/12).

I was very surprised to discover that (since I last looked) there is now a second theme, called simply "ColorWay Theme," vers. 3.3.2, and it has a separate directory on the host, "colorway," dated April 16, 2015 (4/16/15).

Is this second theme/directory, "colorway," an update to the first one that failed to install properly? Or is it an entirely new version that I was not notified about? (And what happened with the implied, intervening versions, such as 3.1, 3.2, etc., of which there seems to be no sign?...)

Either way, I will need some guidance about whether and how to proceed with the newer version.

Sorry to bother you but am not clear with your issue, could you please elaborate more.

Do you wish to do a fresh install of the updated version or you wish to know how another the updated version of theme directory appears.

let me know your opinion.

I routinely and promptly (meaning within a week or less) do all updates for WP itself, plugins, and themes when they appear in the Dashboard. I am unaware, however, of any announcement or email about a new release of ColorWay, one that would have required activation. I do this through the Updates page in Dashboard, so I rarely look at the Themes page in WP.

When I did go to the Themes page a couple of days ago, I was surprised to see a second ColorWay theme:



When I click through on the Theme Details button (not shown in the photo above), it is identified as "ColorWay," version 3.3.2. When I FTP to wp-content > themes on my host, there are two directories: "colorwaytheme" for version 3.0 (the one I am running), and "colorway" for version 3.3.2 (dated April 16 of this year).

So here are my questions:

(1) Was there a minor upgrade in April that didn't update properly in my WP install, as perhaps indicated by the new "colorway" directory on my host? If so, how do I go about correctly doing a minor upgrade? Would that also mean deleting that directory?

OR: (2) Was there a major release some time between vers. 3.0 and 3.3.2 that I missed? (My guess is that your answer will be "Yes.")

(3) If the answer to (2) is "yes," are there instructions somewhere for making the transition (more than just doing a Live Preview)?
