I have changed the Wordpress language but still the theme is in English. For example in the blog section, there are "My Latest blog" and "read more" buttons. Is it possible to change the theme language? Thanks
Hello Alex, Theme contain po file from where you can change theme default tags in your language. For more info please visit link given below. http://www.inkthemes.com/how-to-cre...ess-theme-in-multiple-languages/02/?no-dialog And to change blog section "My latest blog" go to the Appearance > Theme options > Home Page Testimonial Section Starts From Here > Homepage Feature Area And add your text there. Thanks & Regards Nitesh Raghuwanshi
Hi Nitesh and thank you for this. I would like to clarify the following: there are TWO language folders, one in the WP root (and we call it ROOT) and another one within the theme (and we call it THEME), am I right? Now, I have placed my language files taken from WP website into the ROOT (and these are to translate all the main WP functions but NOT those specific to the theme, I think) then I followed your advice and translated the .POT file taken from the THEME folder and after the translation I uploaded both the .MO and .PO file into that same folder again. I altered as described the wp-config.php. But this is ok for BOTH the ROOT and the THEME folder? I mean is this pointing to the new languages in BOTH folders (ROOT and THEME) In any case, I still cannot change the "read more" under the posts in home page into the new language. I hope it makes sense? Alex
