Disable comments

How do I disable comments on posts that are created by users? Since it doesn't appear to notify the creator of the post, there is no reason to have them.

To disable comments. Un check allow comment options while creating ads and posts.
Check image for reference.

 

I found the line in the single-ad.php file that outputs the comment section and commented that out. It did the trick.
