Display Excerpt Under Video Title on homepage

1. Hi - I purchased the Subscribely theme and would like to add an excerpt under the video thumbnail and title on homepage and video category pages.
   please provide me with the code to do that.​

   Unfortunately, this did not work.
   

   1. The code is pulling the entire page content, not just an excerpt. is there a plug-in that can add an excerpt field as i've seen in many WP themes for blog posts?
   2. The content is locked so it's loading the graphic.
