Duplicate H1 and Title Tags

Hi, I am using Semrush, it keeps telling me that I have 34 pages that have duplicate H1 and title tags.

I need to address this. However, I don't understand how to do this, or why it's happening.

When I make a new page,

I put a H2 as the first major heading, Not at the top.
I put in the title.
Write the content.
Publish.
Can you tell me how these 34 pages have duplicate H1 and title tags and how I can fix that.
The only advice I can get up to now is to make sure they are different.
I need to know how to do that.

Hi Akbar, Thanks for getting back to me.

So all I do in wordpress is to start a new page.

I put the title in the space for it at the top.
Then I start the content.

I was told a long time ago not to use H1 as the first heading because wordpress already did this?

So the first proper heading I write is a H2.

I have this message from Semrush telling me that I have these duplicate H1 title tags.

I don't understand what I have done wrong. I don't see a way of changing it.

I have other sites using the same theme.

I have to be careful, especially with this site, because I have ranked number 1 for around 5 yeas now. It's why I don't change from the appointway theme. It works well.

Can you give me a little more information about it, because this is my main business site, and it is very important to me.

I wonder why some pages have the H1 tags which look like this:

<h1><div id="crumbs"><a href="https://www.doncastercarpetcleaners.co.uk">Home</a> &raquo; <span class="current">Doncaster Carpet Cleaners</span></div></h1>

But some pages look like this:

<h1>Carpet Cleaning Doncaster</h1>

While some pages have both types. (see attachment).

I wonder if google will not see properly what long one is about.

Anyway, the only thing i am worried about is the seo point of view. I don't want to mess anything up.

All I need is for each page to to only have one H1 .

Does the page title (as shown on the attachment) automatically make the H1?

I seem to have confused everything, sorry about that.
I would like the H1 to generate automatically via the Yoast plug in, as normal.

I have looked at my other sites and it appears that the H1 does show twice, but, since they all rank at the top, I think it better to go back to the original, normal yoast plug in setting.

The attachment shows a different one of my sites. I would like the https://www.doncastercarpetcleaners.co.uk site to go back to that setting.
