Whoa! I'm W-A-A-A-Y out of date. What's the best way to update to the current version of D'Zonia without losing settings and content. It won't seem to update automatically (with upload and install) and I can't seem to find anything in documentation or the forum on best practice for this. Thank you!

    Hello,
When you updates your theme, all the customization done in the php file will lost and only Custom Css will remain intact.

Always use child Theme if you want to customization with the theme and to avoid this loss while update the theme.
Follow the link given below for the reference
    http://www.inkthemes.com/httpwww-in...rdpress-a-way-to-save-themes-modification/02/

and then follow the steps given below to update your Theme

    1. Download the fresh copy of theme from the members area and unzip it.

    2. Change the Theme folder name and then creates its zip folder and then upload this zip folder in your dashboard as shown in the image given below.

    Hi InkThemes,

I am currently on version 1.1 and having some problems with updating the themes.

    My main concern is that:

    1. Will my pages go missing when i update?
    2. How do i save my current settings?
    3. When i update the package, it says Destination folder already exists.

    Please help.

    Hello,

    For your First issue,
your all the pages remain intact with the Theme after the Theme updation.

For your Second and Third issue,
follow the instruction given in the above previous reply.
