Error during user registration

i am receiving an error during the sign up process. New user gets the "this is somewhat embarrassing" page when clicking the "register" button during sign up.

Please help...been working on this a while

Hello,

I think it's a permalink issue.
Go to the Dashboard > settings > permalink and set it to Default.
It will work fine.

Hi Gourav

This has not solved the problem and the permalinks revert back to postname when i log back in as administrator
