    Aloha -

I downloaded and then tried to upload the newest version of colorway 3.2.5 from the members area. Wordpress will not complete upload because it says the file already exists per error message below:

    'Destination folder already exists. /home/hawaiiac/public_html/wp-content/themes/colorwaytheme/
    Theme install failed.'

Can I simply rename the zip or do I need to go in my root directory to make changes so that it will accept the newest version of the theme? Not sure and do not want to loose existing set-up/data of website.

    Please advise.

    Hello,

Firstly unzip the theme directory , Rename theme directory and again make it zip file and upload it.

    This will solve your issue.

    Thanks & Regards

Yeah, so I did that and the new message from wordpress is as follows:
"The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the <code>style.css</code> stylesheet.
    Theme install failed."

So AGAIN do I do the upload from wordpress admin control or from my cpanel directory control? Should I delete the existing files in my cpanel?

I am also irritated because I have completely deleted some plugins and still yet the theme is showing them on pages and posts. And it is not playing nicely with JetPack plugin - even after deactivation and reactivation.

In fact, the fact that it is not working properly with JetPack is beyond irritating. I can configure sections of jetpack - but items like jetpack social comments do not appear on pages/posts - instead it is the theme's generic. Totally defeats the whole purpose of the pro/responsive theme.

    Hello,

If you don't have any customization in the php files of old theme. Then you can delete it from cPenal and upload latest theme.
Otherwise just rename theme folder and upload new theme.
    After that check jetpack compatibility.

    Thanks & Regards
