Featured images not displaying correct in Internet Explorer 9

Hi,

as you can see from the image, the featured section does not display correctly in Internet Explorer 9. I have disabled all plugins and restarted the browser but the problem is still there. Please help. Thank you.

just letting you know that I have already tried the code

but it doesn't work. However it does move the content to the right so is there a similar code I can use? I have also tried taking off my custom banner but the featured content are still messed up and remain the same. Thank you.

 

Hi, I seem to have fixed most of the problems but I can't remove the extra dotted line above "Romance Packages" which can be seen in the picture. This only appears in Internet Explorer 9. Thanks for your help.

after playing around with the code in header.php I managed to fix the problem. Thanks.
