Featured Posts on Home Page with huge pictures

How can I have smaller pictures on featured posts on home page second column? Now what I get are huge pictures with low quality.

Not sure if this theme has been built like that but in my opinion the pictures should be smaller then with better quality.

Hi, as I haven't got any answer so far, I have to disable the theme on my blog so the link will not show Blogspring.

This theme is designed to display images in the featured area of width 670 pixels.
So use featured images of optimal width 670 pixels,
your featured area on the home page will look fine.
