    Is there a way to set it up so the first month is free then it automatically charges them (via PayPal) a set fee every month after the free month?

    Don't know how that will work with Paypal. If you find out let me know. My way around it is to offer then, not "the first month free", but "a free month", then set the rebill period to 13 months. I do this only with the one-time payment, as an incentive to use this payment plan.

    My suggestion would be "Limited Time $1. First Month" then $___ whatever amount you would be charging monthly. I have been on the online business since 2009 and some times free makes me think; "why free, is it that bad". If you put at least $1., it sounds like they are getting a special. Then highlight no contract required or cancel anytime..blah blah blah. That $1 will also keep spammers away as they will have to do a PayPal transaction.
    My example of $1 is based on USA territory. Just apply an amount that works with your market territory.

    Best wishes,
    Edwin

    Sure you can. Go to the following section. Steps are listed below.
    >GeoCraft settings
    >Payment settings
    >Recurring Payment Package
    >Then set the 1st price for a period of 1 month;
    Leave it rebill second price until cancelled;
    Then enter 2nd price for your preferred monthly price. Choose 1 month for the second period of subscription.
