I'm testing Geocraft before launching it and have already encountered a major problem. When a listing expires, a flood of emails stating "Your listing reactivation notice" are sent in rapid succession. I have received over 100 in the past hour from just one listing. I cannot release something like this to the public as it would surely kill any repeat business to the site. I can't seem to find anything in the Dashboard to remedy this, so I'm thinking it may be a database issue, which I am not trained to resolve. Please advise.
Uh oh. I'm just about to test this out myself so if this is what I can expect, I'd also really love an explanation on how to prevent that...so a friendly "bump" to the top so they will address this sooner rather than whenever...
Is this fixed, this keeps happening to me as well. I get flooded with emails? This needs to be fixed and stopped, at one time I had over a thousand emails in my inbox.
Can I ask, how did you force a listing expiry for testing this problem as I'd like to see this on my own site - its a major show stopper that's for sure! What flag is set that says this is an expired listing I wonder?
The issue was already fixed since version 1.6. If you are using any version older than this, please update the theme to resolve this issue.
