Font color doesn't change when linked

When I have a link on a blog or page I like it to be some color other than gray. When I see a gray link it means it is a non-working link. I also like links to be underlined and italic, so they look DIFFERENT, but it seems gray links are the Colorway link choice. When I first was using Colorway, I had no problems changing this, it worked instantly. For the last couple of months, it is hit and miss. First I have trouble trying to change the color on the working page, sometimes it shows that it has changed and other times it doesn't and then other times it will not change, no matter how many times I try, so I constantly have to go back and forth between the preview and the working page. I have included two screen shots of a blog I am working on right now. The top one is the working page and the bottom one is the preview page. This is a lot of hassle for something that should work at the click of a button.

 

Maybe it is working for you, but I am and have been doing EXACTLY the same steps that the video shows and the results are the two screen shots I included in my first message, the working page may change and it may not and the final page looks like the screen shot. I am working with a MAC and WordPress.
