All I want is my recent posts and google maps in the footer. I have recent posts in footer area 1 and google maps in footer area 2. How to do I get rid of the categories and search site that is loaded in there now? They are not listed in footer 3 or 4. Thanks, Bean
1.For your first issue You are talking about footer widget area, Go to the Appearance > Widgets Drag Recent Post widgets and drop them in the first widget area, It will automatically display at your footer. 2.And for your second issue Follow the link given below http://www.inkthemes.com/community/threads/google-maps.3687/ This will solve your issue.
Is there no training on footer area?? The widgets are being removed as I'm placing in the defined area
