Footer Widgets

    How do I remove the footer widgets that are by default there? I want to leave the footer so I can add widgets at a later point. I just don't want the default widgets showing. Thanks

    Hello,

    Go to the Appearance > Widgets panel in your dashboard and remove all widgets first from the Footer Widget Area and then
    drag & drop empty Text Widget in all the Footer Widget Area.
    This will remove all the default widget from the footer.
