dashboard - geocraft settings - custom fields - scroll down to Select Image - scroll right to click the yellow pencil to edit this field...
at the very bottom of the edit page is Enable For Free Listing, unclick that box ... do this for all but one of the select image custom fields... that will allow only one image for free listings

Right now it is set for only 4 images...you will need to go to dashboard - geocraft settings - custom fields - add custom field (make another Select Image field with the same settings as the others plus no checkmark Under Enable for Free Listings)

all images were unchecked. Should I had left it on demo mode or (populate data mode) in order for the custom field option to work? If some one enters website, images, social media, it can all be populated when they submit it even if its on free. Luckily I have it on pending so I can try and remove the options for paid listings. Is this made so that a business owner who wants to submit a free listing can get all the features anyway? I tried the above directions and it still displays all paid options on free listing submissions. Can I get some clarity please. I know the price is not expensive for the theme but if I am going live to list businesses, I would like to have more control. Please advise thanks.

Not checked next to where it says Select Image....not talking about there... you have to open that page to edit & uncheck there.

Sorry....in theory I think that is supposed to work that way!! I never tested it. You're right....it's still coming up with that option & the only way to delete is admin removing!

Its downright annoying for everyone as its one of the big free/paid differentiators to get a user to upgrade to a paid listing!

I do wonder if support really listen to their customers!
