Front page with slider, testimonials, etc. is gone - Help!

I have used colorway for years and not updated anything in the theme for a long time. I went to look at my site today, and it reverted to a blog on the front page, but the normal gorgeous theme with the slider, services, testimonials, etc. is gone.

Is that only available with the pro theme? I can not for the life of me remember if I was using the free theme or had paid at one point and the subscription ran out.

In any event, I need to get my functional homepage back. I purchased pro, but I don't want to overwrite all my info. When I look in the customize area, every bit of verbiage I used to have is still there... I just have a blog on the front page and I can't my original home page back. Also, note, there never was a static home page, there was always the original theme functions and I never changed it.

I´ve got a similar problem, but I changed a WordPress Theme to Colorway Pro and do not find the slider homepage, just a blog page or a static homepage. My Page is not finished yet so it wouldn´t be a problem to delete and reset it. Do I have to reinstall wordpress or is there any other way to "reset" that theme?

i have a similar problem. Just updated the theme, and have to set up the homepage....but: there is no homepage...in the customizer i set up all: the slider content, the 4 featured areas...but nothing is displayed?
How can i edit and SEE the homepage? Just investet 79 $ and i am very disappointed...:-(...before everything was fine.....
I tried the solution mentioned above, to set the blog as homepage - but nothing changed. there is no homepage, i can see or edit.

Just found the problem: had to create a new page and select template "home page". But it cannot set up the page like it was before: i need 3 slides, and can set up 2 only. I just reverted to the not updated theme, it should look like it is now (ensach.de)

 

I only wanted to update the theme, and everything is gone (slider, front page settings etc). Tried to rebuild it now, but i cannot like it was. Also the updated theme folder i uploaded via FTP is "colorway" and the old folder is called "colorwaytheme"...? So everything is gone...or have i bought the wrong theme? then i will give it back.

thanks for your reply. As I wrote - i fixed the homepage set up problem. The Videos don´t help, because i dont want to import a demo, just wanted to set up a homepage.
For all who have the same Problem: Just create a new page and select in "templates" --> homepage. Then you have a page which can be displayed, and all the customizations from the Customizer can take effect.

QUESTION @ INKTHEMES: Before the update, we had 3 slides in the homepage slider. Now i can set up only 2. Can you give me some Custom CSS to expand the home slider to 3 slides? Or a hint to do this?

Cannot set up the primary widget area...in customizer everything is fine and displayed - but not at the live page...
Cannot set up via "Widgets" and not via "Customizer"...and these two don´t relate to each other

just want to have a sidebar at all pages with a widget with contact information. no big thing.
