gallery not working

Hi, I have done the following to get my gallery (margaretriversurfschool.com.au) working without success

1) Clicked on Add New Page
2) Chose Template "Gallery Template"
3) Chose "Add Media"
4) Chose "Insert Media" >Upload Files >Select Files
5) After selecting files just cut that window without clicking "Insert into page" button.
6) Update page.

If insert the pics I get some of the pics and then a gallery but if i go to the page and click on a pic to open the gallery the pic just opens in a new page

Hi I followed your link and removed the following code but the gallery is still not working.
