Gallery problem - MarkJPhoto

When i use the gallery template, my photos correctly go into a gallery however when you click on the photo it enlarges to a full page width with the photo in the left hand corner of the page, why is this?

Follow process given below while uploading gallery images.

1) Clicked on Add New Page
2) Chose Template "Gallery Template"
3) Chose "Add Media"
4) Chose "Insert Media" >Upload Files >Select Files
5) After selecting files just cut that window without clicking "Insert into page" button.
6) Update page.

Thanks for this, i've tried it twice but it doesnt work as there are no photos that come up on the gallery page that way.

 

You can download "Nextgen gallery" plugin.
There you will get options to adjust image dimension and number of columns according to your requirement.

Thanks for this suggestion but as it's seems to be a flash plugin and really slow...is there any way to sort out why when you click on a photo in my gallery page http://mark-johnston-photography.co.uk/weddings-4/gallery-2 the photo shows in the full scrren with a large amount of white space? I just want to be able to click on the photo and it enlarge normally, thanks

 

The solution i have posted above is the only way to add images in themes gallery template. The way you are adding images will not fulfill what you want.
Follow instructions below, They are in a more descriptive way and will help you.
