Sorry to be posting so many questions... This one relates to the "Contact This Business" form. This form is a great idea, but it doesn't seem to work. When a message is posted it sends the message to the purchase who wrote the message not the business that was to be contacted. The test is our own business at http://townsville.onlinedirectoryaustralia.com/listing/townsville-social-media-marketing/ when I complete the form and submit from my personal email, I get a copy of the message via my own personal email BUT no email to the business email used in the business listing.
Right now the email is sent to the Author of that particular listing who inserted it. When the lead capture is filled by anyone the email is sent to the user who created that particular listing.
Thanks, that makes sense. I created these listing myself with my WP ADMIN user. So, if I create a new WP USER and then edit the LISTING to show the AUTHOR as the new wp user, then the new wp user will get the reminder emails? However.... I only have one business listing in the directory and I am getting 20 reminder emails every day to reactive the listing. Why would this be the case, and can we edit how many email reminders the business gets, eg one email reminder per week (instead of 20 every day)? Thanks for you help.
Yes, if you set current author to new author, it will send the email reminder to the new author. We will take a look to how control the email reminder.
also - i would like to change the order that the "contact" form displays for mobile browsing. Currently the "related listings" show above the "contact" form on an individual page. Can I change the order so it appears below the listing and then the "related listings" etc shows below? This is purely on mobile browsing. Thanks, Paul
