I have setup the "One Time Payment Package" as "Listing Active Period" 12 Months but the listings are saying they expire in 60 days from the date they are published.

Also, what is the "Listing Renewal Period" ?

I created a few new listings as admin and they show by default 90 day expiration when the only package I have active is 1 year renewable. So experiencing the similar issue. Is there a place we can edit this expiration setting?

You have approved the free listing from your dashboard to the pro listing. That is why it the expiry date is not fixed. And the listing which you have set in the free listing will be shown on it. And the listing which will be paid from the front end will get the expiry listing which is already set.

Hey what? Sorry, not sure I understand what you said.

Are you says that if the listing is entered as a FREE listing and then changed to "PREMIUM" that the date of expiry doesn't change?

Can we edit the expiry dates manually for each business listing?

So when the free listing expiry is reached in 60 or 90 days, because we had the free date period originally set at this learning that it was the default, even though we upgraded it to premium, and premium is set in the admin for a year (assume we are billing offline with Quickbooks), will we be able to reset this listing? Like above, where can we edit the expiry date?

Let me clear the expiry and renewal listings concept.

    1. There is a "Listing Active Period" for Free Listings & One Time Payment Listings. Listings expire after that particular time period.
    2. After the listings are expired there is a "Listing Renewal Period", listings once expired can be renewed again for that time duration.

Here is how listing expiry works:
    • If a listing is free, after expiry it can be renewed again, the renewal time period will be taken from the themes options. Free Listing can also be upgraded to Premium in that case the renewal period will be taken from the renewal time period which is setup for the premium listings.
    • If a listing is premium, after the expiry it ends as a free listing. So that the business owner had to pay again to upgrade and renew his premium listings. He can also chose to renew his listing as free too.
@TSMM: All the listings which had been published before the Version 1.7.3 will expire with their previous set expiry date. When you renew it again, the time period will be setup normally according to the setting in the themes options.
@Roger: Once the listing expires, you can choose to upgrade the listing as premium and the listing time period will be setup accordingly as setup in the themes option.
