Getting WP Google Map to show up in the Footer

    I have been trying to use the WP Google Map plugin to then show up in the first footer area. When I asked them how to do it, I got the following reply.

    1.) Please move your Google analytics code to the <head> section, it is outside the head section at the moment and wont work there - it's causing a JS error.
    2.) You have this on line 97:
    <script type='text/javascript'><div id="counter24"><script type="text/javascript">var id="8b776021ec12";d=document;s
    That is illegal HTML and will break any other JS on the page. Please fix that -
    Is this an issue with the Blackbird theme? Is there a way to resolve it? Is there another plugin or widget that will allow a map to display in the footer area?

    I just found another widget that seems to have solved my problem.
