Google Plus

I would like to be able to have visitors follow me on Google Plus, but the Blackbird Pro theme doesn't give me the option to do that (I see Linked In, Twitter, Facebook and the RSS feed).

Is there a way to add Google Plus to the footer?I'd like it to appear right before the RSS feed? Also, could this be part of the next update?

You can try Social Media Widget plugin for this issue.

Download it from the link given below and install it from the Plugins panel (Plugins ->Add New ->Upload) in your Dashboard.

Thanks; I tried this, but the Facebook link would not work (I kept getting an error). Then, I tried deactivating it and "reset" options on the social media page, but it reset all the options for the theme. Very frustrating. I had to talk to my web host and we are in the process of restoring my website.

 

Not a good widget.

Download Google+ icon attached. Upload it in the media and use it's link url in the code as a image address.
