I am getting very confused this is the 2nd time this has happened. Last time i had to rebuild the site and I just can't keep doing that. The listings won't appear, everything is fine from the admin side of the site. But nothing pulls through on the home page or any other page of the listing.

I have not installed any plugins, I haven't changed any settings. Why is this happening. How can i fix it?

Seems like there is a problem with your loop near the Recent Listings part of the front-page.

All your other pages seem fine, so it must be your front-page.php file.

If you download the GeoCraft theme again, and replace that front-page.php file, your problem should theoretically fix.

    All the best,
    -Kent

That is great -but I am real novice, how do I install just that one file - I can only see how to re-install the whole template.

Ok just to let you know I downloaded the theme, opened the front page php file in notepad, copied and replaced the code into wordpress geocraft and updated it. Nothing changed. If anyone can help i'd be very grateful as I have people with paid for listings complaining because they can't see there listing on the front page

Ok, thanks - sorry I couldn't sort it out this morning. I've been having a look at it via cPanel and I have uploaded just the fron-page php. file from the theme zip file. It allowed me to upload it, but it still didn't have any impact on the problem with the theme

Are you sure you have no plug-ins? How is the cookie warning displayed?

You are correct the cookie warning is a plugin and there was an image plugin too, but that was it. The site worked fine with them both on and I hadn't added any new ones. But even with removing them it didn't resolve the issue. Can an installed plugin that works fine suddenly corrupt the homepage - I personally wouldn't have thought so? I have given up and have removed the site from my host server and am in the process of re-building it. But this is 2nd time this has happened and I can't see why its is so unstable

I have no idea why this might be happening but.... now that it is working again... why don't you make a backup of the site so that you can just restore it if you have any more problems....

    Hello,

I have faced such issue before also and the reason is very big size images in the listing. Which sometimes result loading timeout.
And allow only half page to display.
If we are uploading listings from admin side then we can control image size but from user end we can't.
So you can use "wp-image-size-limit" plugin.
Download it from the link given below.
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-image-size-limit/screenshots/

I hope it will help you.:)
