Having a few issues with this theme

I'm not sure why I'm having this issues ... hopefully someone can help.

The site is: http://arlingtonparks.us/farmersmarket/

1. Slider does not work. Nothing is displaying.
2. The sidebar still appears on the homepage, even though I removed all the widgets. If i remove <div class="five columns omega">

<?php get_sidebar(); ?>
<!--End Sidebar-->
</div>
from the mainindex.php, it will remove it but will the page content stretch the whole area (i don't want the blank space)?

3. Why is the home bar showing?
4. The static text i added for the homepage content is not displaying when i have static page selected.

I basically want the same look as: http://inkthemes.com/wpthemes/regalfashion/

 

I think by mistake you have set front page off.
Go to the Appearance > Theme options > General settings > frontpage on/off
'on' your front page from there.
It will resolve this problem.

 

It's def checked as on ... i just double checked.

Nevermind. Got it working. Seems that trying to save the settings in Google Chrome was not working. When I used IE, it worked just fine ... fyi.
