Thank you. I've thought about it a lot, and realize I cannot take the risk that an update would mess up the testimonials section. I'd rather go back to the way it was before than take that risk. How would I restore it to how it was before it was customized? (testimonials increased to 6, and images removed)
Hi vasity You can backup your theme and then try updating the site. Please also make a back up your theme option data. Create a child theme now, this link may help you creating a child theme http://www.inkthemes.com/wordpress-child-theme/02/ Place your old (customized theme) front-page.php in the child theme folder. In this way you can update your theme. However it more customization has been done to your theme you can add more files in your child theme. If your site is working fine, I would not recommend you to update your theme. PankajK Thank You
