Home Page Blog Posts Not Showing

So I've got my theme set-up very similarly to how the demo is, with a spot on the home page to show some blog posts...however, they aren't showing up. I created a new post to text (http://writeharvest.gaddev.com/first-blog-post/). However, on the home page it doesn't show up. In the settings I have the "Home Page Blog Feature" turned on. What am I missing?

Please install a fresh copy of theme.

If the issue doesn't resolved, then provide us your website wordpress login details at [email protected].

OK, did as you suggested and uploaded a fresh theme...same result. I'll email our login details.

I am having the same problem with the blog posts not showing on Home page. I am using a "Child theme" - is there something I need to add to the Child theme?

 

Never mind, I fixed it!
The general WordPress "Settings" for "Reading" was set to static page for the Home page. Once I changed it to "Latest Posts" the posts showed up on the Home page.
