Home Page is a mess after update

Can you help please, my home page does not open correctly after I made an update to the theme and child theme.
The slider photos do not show at all and the Featured test has disappeared.
The 4th column now drops down to the next line
The menu now is on 2 lines when before it was on one.
The width of the theme is narrow, can I make it wider.

It seems that the theme did not properly install in your wordpress..

So could you please reinstall the theme once again and check after that.

I have reloaded the latest theme which has fixed the slider and the Featured Text but now I am missing the language flags in the header, the 4th column has still dropped down onto the next line and the theme width is very narrow. The website is www.playtennisinthesun.com

On my other site www.thedogsclub.com I have the same problem with the 4th columnit has dropped down onto the next line and the slider photo looks a lot bigger than before. I reloaded the theme again for this as well.

For your second website, please paste the code given below in Custom CSS field (Appearance -> Theme Options -> Styling Options -> Custom CSS) of your dashboard.

Code:

.columns .one_fourth {
    float: left !important;
}

Sorry, I am unable to figure out any issue related to 4rth column..

It would be better to provide some edited screenshot of the concerned area for your 1st site, so that we can assist you accordingly.

Thank you for the code and for the information.
It is strange that when I look at the site on my computer the 4th column still drops down to the next line, therefore I have added the css code to both sites and now work correctly for the alignment, but not using the child theme just the main Colorway theme.
I do not really understand how the child theme works.
Many months ago I was contacted by a now ex member of Ink Themes staff asking if I still needed help with my then problems. It was only recently that I contacted this person and asked him to make me a child theme for both of my sites, which he did but both of them do not display the site correctly, so I have re activated the main updated theme again, which will be a problem again when you release the next update.
