Hello, I am setting up a website found here: http://robinbgallery.com We would like to use your designed "Home (Front) Page" and use "What's Hatching" page for our blog posts. In the Theme Options, we have the Front Page turned ON. We created a page called "Home Test" for our home (front) page. In The Settings> Reading> we have HOME TEST selected as our static home page. The problem is that after completing those steps, when you look at the site, two 'home' pages appear in the navigation bar. First: a HOME page (which appears to be created when you turn the "front page" option ON) and Second: a HOME TEST. Both HOME and HOME TEST appear to link to the same page content- but we only want ONE home page. Why does it create its own HOME page?? If we don't select a page in Settings> Reading>Front Page, then the website only shows the latest blog posts! There is no way to just select HOME, as it is a page that seems to be arbitrarily created by the system and is in fact not part of our page list. How can we just have one "Home" page on the site + utilize your nicely designed front page- not recent blog posts? Please help! Thank you!
Hello, The home page displaying in the website is the default feature of our website, you need not to make extra effort for it. Just go to the Settings> Reading and select the "your latest post" radio option and save the changes and then go to the Appearance > Menus Panel in your dashboard and remove the "Home Text" page from there. For the reference see the image given below. This will solve your issue.
Thank you. I followed your steps and It got rid of the second "Home" Page, But then How do I make "Whats Hatching" Page show my blog posts?? I appreciate your help!
