How can I customize the home page

Please I would like to remove the big screen on the home page and remove the (recommend, popular and recent). I would like to give my home page a layout of my choice and insert banners. Any help please

If you wish to remove the big screen on the home page and remove the (recommend, popular and recent) and want to perform your own customization then follow the steps mentioned in the image below:






Also the coding of that whole section that you wish to remove its <div>starts from line number 10 to end at line no 243.

I removed the entire div and now users cannot upload videos. I attached a screenshot of the error message.
