How do I update the blog page

Hi, I am using the canned blog page provided by the theme but would like to remove some of the menus on the right side of the page at: http://www.stephanbrisard.com/blog/ - can you tell me how I can alter the blog page template to remove let's say the Meta menu or the recent posts menu? Thanks for your help.

Those are the widgets used in the theme, you can remove those widgets from widget section. Go to
"Appearance -> Widgets"
And remove those widgets which you do not want to show in the page.
