Hello, I am trying to update the Cloriato theme from version 1.2 to the newest version. I tried uploading the newest version, but I keep getting the following. How do I fix this, by getting rid of the old one and so I can install the new one. Thanks Here is what it keeps saying: Installing Theme from uploaded file: cloriatotheme.zip Unpacking the package… Installing the theme… Destination folder already exists. /home2/private/public_html/wp-content/themes/cloriatotheme/ Theme install failed.
Hello, This is because theme with the same name already exist at your dashboard. So do one thing. Extract latest theme zip file. Then rename theme directory (Suppose rename it to something like "cloriatothemepro"). Then again zip it and then upload it. It will work. Thanks & Regards Nitesh Raghuwanshi
Hello, I will try to do this on my own, but before I do, could you please be more specific on how to do each step 1. When you say "Extract latest them zip file" Do you mean open a new empty folder and right click and hit extract files? OR how exactly am i suppose to do this and where? 2. How do I rename theme directory and where do I do this? 3. How do I zip it up again? OR maybe it would be easier if you created a video showing exactly how to do this step by step and posted a link to the video in the video tutorials. That would help alot for everyone who ever needs to update to the new version of their theme. OR I could just email the login to support if you want so I dont mess anything up. Thanks
