How to add boxes onto specific page

Hi,

My website is www.purahealthyliving.com

On my recipes page, i would like to add a small slider page with photos specific to my cuisine and then have a small text below it.
Also i would like to be able to link that to a sub page.

Look forward to your advise on how to go about this.

For slider you can use "simple slider plugin".
Download it from the link given below.
Just add shortcode generated by plugin at the "recipes page".
