How to Bulk Import Videos?

Pls advise how to bulk import Youtube video URL's (including titles, descriptions etc)..if there is a plugin please advise

I have hundreds and wish to avoid adding videos one at a time

Hello,

It is possible with "wp-csv" plugin.
Download link.
http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-csv/

Process.
Upload one or two video manually.
Then go to the Dashboard > Tools > Wp csv
And check "video" as shown in the image.




After this export csv file, Open it and fill detail of all your videos.
And then import it.

It will work.

Bulk Upload Issues: Thank you again for earlier advise

Followed instructions
- two test videos were uploaded manually
- checked videos (as shown in image) ...on that page there is also a default check for 'export hidden custom fields' WHICH I LEFT checked-it was default setting
- exported csv
- opened it
- fill in details

Filled in basic info I have on a few additional videos (and kept the two original videos in the file) and tried to IMPORT

THIS FAILED

THEN

Removed videos through dashboard of theme. Re-imported the original CSV export (with the two videos) and this WORKED? It accepted the two videos

QUESTIONS

WHY THE ORIGINAL EXPORT FILE IS ACCEPTED WHEN IMPORTED and not the new file populated with a few additional URL's, etc.

Furthermore

After the above procedure is followed the CSV Bulk Importer does not function properly (when exporting again limited data is captured)

Only post id, post date and post title

I have to re-install wordpress in order for Bulk Loader to export all data once again

Below is data exported when it functions properly

id post_date post_status post_title post_content post_excerpt post_parent post_name post_type ping_status comment_status menu_order post_author category post_tag post_format video_cat video_tag thumbnail post_views_count _edit_last _edit_lock _meta_image _meta_video _video_url _wp_page_template

 

Update
Managed to bulk import a sample of videos based on your instructions. Worked when removing from the export file the two original sample videos data. Importing a file without these worked . Could it be that import will not function when there are duplicate videos in a CSV file?

I also noted this. Some time it work with duplicate videos and sometime not.
You can use it for fresh videos.

Hello,

You can import bulk videos. But just keep new videos in the csv. Don't import csv with duplicate videos.
