    Hello

    Today I have a more general question on a problem I was not able to solve by myself for month. Since I didn't know where to put it, I selected this theme forum.

    I'd like to change the name of my site that appears in the (firefox) browser tabs.
    My blog title is talesoftheroad||de
    Together with the name of a specific site I get something like
    Hometalesoftheroad||de or Blogtalesoftheroad||de

    I'd like to have something like Home@talesoftheroad||de or Home | talesoftheroad||de.
    Where can I do this without changing the name of the blog?
    Is the sign || that I have in my default blog name a problem?

    Thank you so much for your support!

    Hello,
    Go to the General Settings Panel (Settings -> General) and paste your title as shown in the image given below.

    This will solve your issue.

    Hello Piyush,

    I followed your instructions. Now the name in the browser tab says HomeHome | talesoftheroad||de
    This is not what I had in mind ;)

    I moved on and tried to leave Site Title empty and only put talesoftheroad||de into tagline. And indeed, this works pretty fine for the home page. But if onc clicks on any other menu entry on my website, only the name of the site appers (e.g. Blog, Info etc) but nothing else.

    Could you check my site, please, and offer some more ideas?

    Thanks,
    Stephan

    Edit:
    I realised that my SEO settings were the problem. I corrected them in a way that I am now happy with the browser tab names. Still, I don't fully understand these things ;)
    However, problem solved; thread can be closed.
    Thanks for the support!
