How to change footer and footer widget background

How can I change the background of the footer widget area and the footer and also change their font color (www.preview.interoceansystems.com)?

I tried using

.footer {
background: #2B547E;
}

but it didn't affect it

 

Kindly, try below custom CSS code in Custom CSS field located in Dashboard->InkThemes->Theme Options->Styling Options

}
.footer-wrapper .footer_widget .footerheading{

}

}
