I have created this site http://www.daturesearch.com - I have removed the feature content section with the 3 circles. But when we try to share this site on LinkedIn and Facebook we are seeing the cartoon image and Blackbird Theme information (see attached). I entered information into Theme Options/Homepage Settings for the First Feature Content, but it did not change anything. Where do I change the info that is showing up on social sites? Does it use the same content from the Feature Content section or is it controlled somewhere else?

These content are still showing because you hide the feature content from theme not remove it, and they are tracked by Google. To add the text and images you want to show, Go to
Appearance > Theme Option > Home page settings > Home Page Feature Content

and put images and content there that you want to share on Facebook.

I have entered information in the place you suggest for the First Feature content. But Facebook and LinkedIn are not showing my content, it is showing the default content of the Blackbird Theme, instead of what I entered.

Google tracked your default content site, Therefore it takes some time to track your new content.
