Hi. I went through all documents, but nowhere I can find this. I am in India, where paypal is not available for Indian Rupees. What I want to do is :- 1. Accepting Local India Cheques , by showing Rupee symbol in the currency. 2. If this is not possible , the at least I should be able to display a note somewhere like " Indian Clients - Please contact for local cheque payments (something like this) Suggest. ---Soumitra Ghotikar
Hi, I would like to know the answer to this as well. Can we change the currency from USD to something else? And if not, can we display a note... ? Thanks.
Hello, In your case, you can disable the Payments Option completely, since paypal do not allow payments within India. You can ask users to submit the listings for free and after they send you the payment checks for making their listing premium. You can manually make their listing as Premium from the Business Listings Post-type.
This is helpful to address my question on setting things for free, which I was told could not be done. Apparently it can be since you just suggested turning it off entirely. So my question is if it's turned off and we as admins post the listing on their behalf when they pay locally, how does this reflect the featured vs free option? And what happens with the recurring payments? Who keeps up with it, the admin or the customer? Will their listings automatically deactivate after each month with an email to them to reactivate or is that also turned off with paypal payment option? Or would we as admins have to babysit the whole listing of potentially hundreds of individual businesses each month to make sure they pay on time? I have a sinking feeling that I'm not going to like the answer to this one...which may well be a dealbreaker all around on this purchase....
